Just Friends, Right?...
from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 01:07 PMCassian was lying on his back on one of the docks. His feet were dangling over the edge, pants rolled up to his knees. He moved his feet around in the water as he looked up at the night sky, which was full of stars. His hands were folded up beneath his head, as a sort of cushion. Tonight he was supposed to meet up with Eris, one of his good... what would he call it? ‘Friends’. He and Eris met a couple of years ago, when we was 25 and she was only just 18. They met at the bar she worked at. He came by there one night, and saw her dancing atop of the bar. He grins at the memory of it. They had been flirting and dancing all night, and eventually went home, where they had spent the night together. From that moment on, they had met many times more, to either just hang out, but mostly for pleasurous purposes. It wasn’t like they were in a relationship: they weren’t exclusive. Not at all, actually. They were a kind of friends with benefits. He had come to really value his time with her, though. He liked her company. She didn’t expect too much of him, she knew he had a hard time committing to relationships, and she never pushed him about it. She was just someone he could be himself around, someone he could let go with. He closed his eyes and took in the smell of the salt water, of the fire that was lit not too far from him, the perfumes of the women going to bars and parties. The sound of laughter and music floated through the air, drowning out his thoughts of Eris. He was supposed to meet her here, after she got off work. He would take her out for a bite to eat, and after that they would go to his ship, where they would spend the night at his chambers. He hummed along to the music, waiting patiently for Eris to come and find him.

from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 01:16 PMEris's shift had passed just fine mostly because she was on such a good mood.Once it was over she waved good bye to her colleague before rushing out the door she needed to get home and change. She wasn't going to wear some simple bartender outfit when she was going on a date with a Captain. It didn't take long for her to change into her new clothes which was pretty new at this point. They weren't really causual but had some sort of pirate alike view.
Her heels clicking against the street as she walked towards the dock and soon spotted the familiar ship she had seen before. She hadn't really been on it before though. This weird feeling had grown into her belly and she wasn't sure why.It wasn't the first time she'd meet Captain Vanserra. She soon spotted him and slowed down her pace slightly as she slowly made her way over to him.
"Evening Captain Vanserra."She spoke in a slightly seductive tone.He truly was handsome indeed but they were just friends right? But then again normally friends didn't get into bed with each other.Shaking of her though she eyed him up and down bitting the inside of her cheek. She was sure she'd enjoy this night.

from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 01:53 PMCassian slowly opened his eyes when he heard the familiar, sweet sounding voice of Eris. He sat up straight and looked around. She was standing before him in... Pants. She was wearing a full on pirate-outfit. With pants. Actual pants. She has never worn pants before when they met. He raised a brow and grinned. “Miss Blackwood,” Cassian started a little surprised as he got up to his feet. “You look... different.” He said as he got closer to her. “Splendidly gorgeous, of course, but different.” He slid his hands around her waist as he closed the distance between them. “Got tired of those difficult dresses now, did you?” He whispered softly. “I’m not complaining, by the way. This only makes it easier for me to remove your clothes tonight.” He smiled and let go of her waist. “So,” he started again, trying to get rid of the tension hanging in the air already. “I hope you’re hungry. Because I sure am.” He let one of is heavy ringed hands glide through his hair. “I’m taking you to this little place I found out about just last week. They serve the best ale in town. And, not completely unimportant, serve good food as well.” He took her hand and started walking off the dock, leaving his ship behind.

from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 02:19 PMEris grinned at his reaction it was just as she had imagined.Usually being one to wear dresses she thought tonight was the night.Watching him coming closer she didn't let her eyes off him.Feeling his arm being wrapped around her waist she felt herself already getting worked up but she couldn't let him noticed that or else he may get ideas.
"What if i never really liked wearing them."She spoke looking up at him.Hearing him starting to whisper she couldn't hold back the smirk she had been struggling to keep hidden."Oh Captain....i can't wait."She replied hearing him say it'd be easier to remove her clothes later tonight.A part of her grew disappointed as he let go of her.Her heart beating like crazy of just being around him but she wasn't in love with him that wasn't her thing. It couldn't be the reason could it?
Hearing him start to tell about the place they were going to eat at tonight made her only smile more."That truly sounds delicious."She hummed cause she was a bit hungry infact she was starving something she wouldn't tell him out loud."Shall we?"She questioned waiting for him to take her hand.Once they started to move from their meeting point she looked up at him."So tell me Cass what have you been up to lately?"She asked a bit curious

from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 05:25 PM"What if i never really liked wearing them," Eris reacted when he asked her about her dresses. "Well," Cassian answered in his turn. "In that case it's a good thing I never let you keep them on for too long, isn't it?" He grinned a sneaky grin and continued to walk along with her. It felt good to walk here with her again. The atmosphere between them just felt... right. It never felt like they were forcing something. He thought about tonight and how it would feel like to be with her again, and felt his cheecks heat up in response. That dinner probably would not go on for too long, if he already felt his blood heat up over such a thought. "So tell me Cass what have you been up to lately?," her voice sounded. He got snapped out of his little day-dream by that question. It has been a while since the two have seen each other. Cassian had to go back to Spain for some.. 'family' issue, if that's what he could call it. He didn't really think of his blood family, as his actual family. Either way, he had to help them back home, which meant he had to sail all the way from England to Spain, and all the way back. This took him about four months. "Hmm, nothing interesting," he murmured, not wanting to talk about his rotten family. "A long time at sea, nothing really happened. We had a bit of a quarrel with two ships on the way back, but we resolved that quite easily." He shrugged and steered them into a little street on their right side. The place they were heading towards was just at the end of this street. "What about you? Were there any men that kept my place in your bed warm while I was away?" He winked at her. He din't really know why the question felt so... weird? He almost thought that the feeling in his stomach could be something like jealousy, but that was just impossible. Cassian never got jealous, let alone about a woman. He smiled at her, trying to hide the fact that this made him a little uncomfortable, and pushed open the door of the bar, for Eris to walk in first.

from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 05:40 PMEris felt a blush creeping up on her cheeks at his comment."I suppose."She replied looking over at him with amusement. However she couldn't help but notice he almost spazed out after her following question about what he had been doing. She could tell he didn't wanna talk about it which she accepted without questioninig the matter.
She enjoyed the company with him and the smell of the sea near by.She normally wasn't to thrilled about her surroundings but walking here with Cassian made her atmosphere change a bit.As if she had never been there before even if she probably had.Hearing him question if she had been with someone else while he was away made her smirk. Was that jealous? No it couldn't be,was probably something in his mind.
"Well i mean i hooked up with a few customers once or twice while you were gone."She spoke truthfully. She've had a few one night stands during her time and it was kinda similar with Cass she supposed although there was something else between them that she couldn't put her finger on.As they arrived to their destination she smiled as he pushed the doors for her."A pirate and a gentleman...intresting."She spoke only so the two of them could hear not wanting to start any troubles for Cassian.Giving him a short look she quickly entered as she looked around, waiting for him to show her the way.

from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 06:48 PMCassian let his hand glide onto the Eris' lower back as they entered the restaurant. He steered her into the back, where he had made sure a table was prepared for them. The thought of her being with other guys while he was gone stung him more than he would like to admit. Even though it was very strange and hypocritical, since he had been with multiple women during his stay in Cardoba. He tried to push the thought away and grinned. "Ah, such a shame," he whispered in her ear. "I thought I could claim you all as my own tonight. Be the first one to conquer you in a long while." He shrugged casually, as if he hadn't just said something very passionate and personal. "Builds up the anticipation, you know," he winked and pointed her towards one of the chairs.
A woman came walking up to them, smiling broadly at Cassian. "Hello good sir," she mumbled when se came to a halt at their table. "What can I do you for tonight? A drink? Some nice food? Or maybe some company tonight?" She winked at him and batted her long, thick lashes at him, as if that would seduce him. "Ah yes," he said with a roll of his eyes. "Could you please bring me and my lady," he spoke the words extra clearly, so she knew he was on a date, or whatever this was that they were on, "some of your finest wine and whatever the kitchen has to offer." The woman bit her lip and turned around with a red flush on her cheecks. Cassian knew Eris wasn't his lady, nor that they were on a date, but he just didn't feel like flirting or talking to other women when he was having dinner with her. "Anyway," he continued, "I missed hanging out with you while I was away." He smiled a genuine smile at her.
Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 08:27 PMEris truly felt comfortable maybe a bit special even, heck who wouldn't on a date with a naughty pirate,Captain to be exact even. She looked around at the fancy resturant as he guided her to the table and boy he sure had money. She glanced at him as he whispered into her ear."Well you have conquered alot of things Captain.I am sure you won't have a problem with me."She spoke in a low tone as she watched him, biting her lip as she gave him a look.Gosh the date had barely started and she was already crawing for him.To be honest though he was the golden treasure of all the men she had been with so far in her life.
Taking a seat she noticed a waitress coming over rather quickly after they barely got the chance to sit down. She stared at the female almost in a threatening manner seeing clearly that this woman was on her territory which was a big no no.She was just about to start barking although Cassian beat her to it but it didn't stop her for dropping a comment."He got all the company he needs."She added, glaring daggers at waitress.
Her gaze shifted over to Cassian a bit suprised hearing him say 'my lady' and that truly made her hope that the female would get the hint.Would be sad if a person mysteriously disappeared on her way home from work on night. She didn't take it as Cassian stated that she was her propertiy, actually she was a bit unsure of how to take it.She smiled hearing that he had missed her."Ofcourse you have."She replied a bit cockily."How could you not want something like this?"She questioned gesturing towards herself in a half dramatic way.
Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 09:10 PM"Well you have conquered alot of things Captain. I am sure you won't have a problem with me." Cassian smirked at her. He liked the way she talked back to him. Most females were too intimidated by him to flirt back and would just giggle and blush. Eris didn’t. She dared to make slightly playful, ambiguous comments, and he very much enjoyed it. “Well, let’s sure hope so, since you are something that I truly desire at the moment.” He slouched gracefully into his chair. He took off his jacket and hung it over his chair. The fire was crackling close by, making it quite hot where they were seated. His white linen shirt was undone, which meant his tanned skin was visible until halfway down his chest.
Cassian couldn’t deny the feeling he got when Eris told the waitress off by telling her he already had company for the night. When the waitress walked away with their order, Cassian focussed wholly on her again. She looked gorgeous in the candlelight. Her curls had a beautiful shine to them, as did her piercing blue eyes. He sometimes wondered why they were only friends with benefits: she did have everything he was looking for. But then he remembered that they had, in fact, tried actually dating once, but it just didn’t work out for some reason. So, instead, they just went back to what they were doing now.
“Ofcourse you have, how could you not want something like this?" She retorted when he told her he had missed her. He rolled his eyes dramatically. “Now, now,” he cooed playfully, “don’t let it get to your head, little one.” He smirked at her. Another waiter, a man this time, came back to bring them their wine and food. He poured both Eris and Cassian a drink, and waited for them to try and approve the wine before he left again. While he was waiting, however, he was eyeing Eris. Cassian cleared his throat to warn the guy he was watching and onto his intentions.

Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 09:40 PMEris licked her lips as she heard his reply."Well i do hope so."Still with that same attitude. It was something about him that dragged this part of her out sure she was rebellious and a bit of a troublemaker but still. She found herself ending up staring at him simply enjoying his beauty.Watching him as he took of his jacket, seeing he bare skin as she eyed him slowly. She put her arms on the table as she leaned a bit closer to him, simply to gain a better view."Damn."She mumbled before letting out a smirk only to realise that she said it out loud causing a small blush to appear.
Normally when she was flirting with men she'd could be doing it with multiply people at the same time. But around him she simply couldn't do that.Assuming that a part of her still wanted more than what they ended up being.Sure single life was fun but who said you couldn't have fun while having someone? She assumed he was going to move onto someone else in the future a part of her thinking she still wasn't enough.
With her clevage being slightly reviled she smirk as he told her not too let it get into her head. She simply rolled her eyes at his comment being yet again reminded that he was still older than her.It was a bit annoying.Soon another waiter arrived and she noticed rather quickly that she was being watched. Was he checking her rack out?She got a bit amused but didn't show it to much. She tasted the wine they were given and it wasn't that bad.Looking up at the man she quickly spoke."Careful were you're staring."She spoke not in the same threatening tone as she spoke with the female earlier but still threatening. She could tell by the look on his face that he was a player who enjoyed the fun parts of life. This sure was a place were you could find those type of people.
