Re: Demolished Dates And Amorous Altercations
from Yrsa_Mareritt on 06/07/2020 12:22 PM"Well, you are most certainly right about that. The poor lad was an absolute wimp to begin with! He turned pale when I told him about one of my many battles at The Flying Dutchman." Cassian almost spit his drink back out after he heard her say that. "And that calls himself a captain?" Cassian was still laughing when he shook his head. "Such a disgrace to the title," he sighed drmatically and winked at Yrsa. "You are more a man of substance for sure, as you experienced battles and enjoyed them even." Cassian nodded. "Oh, I sure enjoy a good battle every now and then," he said with a raised brow. "Not too long ago, we had this massive battle with a group of three smaller ships in the open sea. They each were about half the size of my ship, however, they were way faster. They gave us a good fight, for sure." Cassian smiled at the memory of it. "Obviously we blew them to bits after a little while. The game was starting to get boring." He grinned. "One man survived and had the nerve to try and kill me in my sleep. He climbed on board at night, sneaked into my chambers and put a knife to my throat." Cassian let his hand glide over the big scar that ran around his neck. "I captured him, though. I tied him on top of the highest pole, gagged him and let one of my men shred him to bloody ribbons after we starved him for days. He likes to do the killing, that one. Was a convicted murderer before he joined my crew." Cassian took another sip of his drink, this time keeping all the content inside. Yrsa had been listening to Cassians story with great interest. This was exactly how she liked her life to be, full of horrific events. The functioned best on conditions like that. "What a marvelous story you have there! Awesome!" she said and took another sip of her drink.
"You still like to meet my crew after hearing that story?" he joked. Yrsa laughed. "Are you kidding me? Of course, I would love to. I would love to meet this man as well, I think he is full of wild stories," She was a bit shocked to hear herself talk like that, maybe he would think she was actually crazy or even a psychopath. However, Yrsa knew that Cassian probably would not be shocked about anything anymore.

"You still like to meet my crew after hearing that story?" he joked. He had a feeling yrsa was not at all afraid of meeting his crew, even after hearing this story. Knowing she had been a pirate herself, he knew she probably came across worse people than that.
Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/03/2020 10:19 PMA soft knock sounded on the door of Cassian's room. "Yes," Cassian grunted in response. One of his crew members came in, he was looking at some sort of document in his hands as he entered. "Word got back from Cardoba, cap," the man spoke without looking up. Cassian's eyes flared wide open. Cardoba. That was where his parents lived. He had been there that summer because his father was very ill. He had fought in a battle and was stabbed in the side. The nurse that had been with him probably didn't clean the wound enough, because it had started to infect really nastily. The doctor said he probably wasn't going to survive it. Cassian had come over, to spend some more time with his fater, trying to make up for the time lost when he was younger. However, even though his father was ill, and he knew this probably had been the last time they would see each other, he still had sent Cassian away. It had hurt Cassian massively, even though he wasn't going to admit it. Not even to himself. He hated his father anyway, so why would he let such a thing bother him? Cassian, in return, had sent his father an enormous letter, telling him to rot away in hell. Apparently, his father wasn't dead yet, since a message came back from him. Cassian rolled his eyes at the thought. Just thinking about the whole situation made him furious. He walked over to the man, who opened his mouth again to continue reading the letter, and snatched it out of his hands. The man looked up now, with raised eyebrows. Only then did he notice that Eris was standing in his chambers. "Oh- Er... I'm very, versy sorry sir. Didn't know ya had a lass in here, sir. Didn't know, I didn't." He smiled apologetically and quickly turned around to walk out of the room again. Cassian sighed. Anger was fuming up in him again.
He walked over to Eris, and wrapped his arms around her. "Be here when you wake up?" he whispered in her ear as he buried his face in her neck. "Sweetheart, I won't even give you time to sleep tonight." He gently bit her neck and let go again. "You'll help me forget all about the shit I have going on tonight, and I promise you, I will give you the best night of your life in return," he purred. His hands were moving down her back, his breathing got a little heavier of just thinking about it. All he wanted now was her. Her for the entire night. He knew just how well she was able to make him forget about anything and just make him feel good. And that was all he wanted right now. All that he needed.

from Yrsa_Mareritt on 06/03/2020 11:24 AMYrsa told Cassian about her past, not in detail, but the outlines. The details were to gruesome, even for her, to tell. She saw Cassian struggle with how to react to a story like hers. "Damn," he said with raied brows. "For fucks sake, when you said horrors, I did not expect somthing like that," he murmured. He took her hand in his and squeezed it shortly, as a way of encourangement and let go again. "Oh well, most damaged souls are at sea, I am right? You must have a story to, captain." Yrsa said. He laughed a joyless laugh. "I'll drink to that, darling," he said sighing, after which he raised his glass and poured the content straight into his mouth. He took the bottle of scotch and filled up his glass. He grabbed another one from the corner of the table, filled one up for Yrsa too and handed it to her while he continued to talk. "Oh well, I do not mean to bore you with stories of my past," he grinned. Yrsa smiled at him, shortly. She did not really know why, maybe to let him know it was okay to tell if he wanted to. After that she drank her scotch. She liked the taste of it, unlike most women. However, she was not like most women. "Let's move on to a subject of a lighter matter, shall we?" He smiled. "For example the subject of how much of a better date I am than your previous conquest." He raied a brow in amusement. Yrsa laughed at him. "Well, you are most certainly right about that. The poor lad was an absolute wimp to begin with! He turned pale when I told him about one of my many battles at The Flying Dutchman. You are more a man of substance for sure, as you experienced battles and enjoyed them even." Yrsa raised her glass at Cassian as a gesture of appreciation.
"In that case, it's a deal. I can take you with me to give you a tour of the ship and introduce you to my crew tomorrow, if you're free. It might be nice to know who you will sleep in one cabin with, if that's what you're aiming for." He chuckled. "I must warn you though.. My men and women have been at sea for quite some time, so you might get overwhelmed by their attention when you come aborad. They haven't seen a beauty like yours in some time." Yrsa smiled. "Well, do not flather me, captain. I would love to meet your crew. I do have some time tomorrow. Or infact, I have all the time in the world," she said and leaned back. She studied Cassians looks. A Spanish captain, a strong captain and maybe, in the deepest parts of his soul, he is even a kind-hearted captain. Yrsa was always astonished about what you could read in someones eyes, which made her wonder what he could see in hers.
Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from ErisBlackwood on 06/02/2020 11:49 PMEris made sure to actually take a good look of the ship.It actually was quite an honor to step onto a real pirate ship again and being sort of accepted of who she was.She looked around her gace travelling all over the ship before glancing down to his crew. She didn't pay much attention as she followed him to his cabin.
Although as the doors open her mouth almost dropped open at the view.Never had she imagined the inside of a ship could look as stunning like this. Her father's cabin was nothing like this of what she could remember.Still standing by the door she threw a look towards his desk wondering if he had anything intresting maps for a badass adventure or even a key.Sadly she didn't see much.
Turning back towards him she smiled as he came over with two beautiful crystal glasses filled with wine.Grabbing the glass she sniffed the liquid slightling taking in the familiar smell."Smell delicious."She spoke."By the way your room is breath taking."She spoke throwing another glance around.
She smirked at his question as she looked up at him."Oh that's charming."She snickered as she took a step away from him,to tease him slightly."We'll see if i will be left when you wake up.Deppends if you'll be any good."She spoke her face clearly showing how amused she was.
Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/02/2020 11:32 PMCassian walked Eris to his ship, while holding her all the way over. His crew was sitting on the deck, drinking, singing and laughing together. They did not look twice when he and Eris walked past. His crew was so used to Cassian bringing around girls all the time, that they didn't even bother paying attention. Cassian was glad of that, since this also meant he didn't get bombed with, very, very disturbing and inappropriate questions about the girl he was with every morning. He lead Eris to his chambers immediately. His chamber was belowdecks. It was a spacious room: a big bed with rich, black silken sheets stood in the middle of the room, between the two windows with direct view of the sea. A desk stoodon the left side of the room, and was scattered with files, armor, bottles of booze, and other clutter. On either side of the desk stood a chair, dark brown leather with silver studs around the edges. Other than these things, Cassian also had a leather couch, a liquor cabinet with more bottles and glasses and a large strategy board standing in his room. A crystal chandelier hung in the center of the room, providing it with a subtle, golden light.
Cassian immediately walked over to his liquor cabinet. "Let's see," he hummed while looking through the various bottles on it, grabbing a luxurious looking bottle of wine. He pulled off the cork with his teeth and filled up two crystal glasses. "Here you go, gorgeous," he smiled as he handed her one of the glasses. He placed himself against his desk, looking at Eris standing in his room. He grinned at the sight of her in it. "You look good in here," he spoke. "Couldn't you just stay in here? This place is lacking some accessories." He winked at her, letting her know he was only kidding and not actually calling her an accessory.

from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/02/2020 11:19 PMCassian payed Yrsa his full attention when she told him her story. She went through a lot. More than anyone should have to go through... He didn't really know how to react. He knew from his own experience that pity wasn't something that you would want to get when you told someone a story like this, but he couldn't help but feel that way a little. "Damn," he said with raied brows. "For fucks sake, when you said horrors, I did not expect somthing like that," he murmured, trying to lighten the mood a little. He took her hand in his and squeezed it shortly, as a way of encourangement and let go again. He didn't want to force this conversation onto her, seeing as she looked quite uncomfortable, avoiding his gaze. "Oh well, most damaged souls are at sea, I am right? You must have a story to, captain." He laughed a joyless laugh. "I'll drink to that, darling," he said sighing, after which he raised his glass and poured the content straight into his mouth. "Oh well, I do not mean to bore you with stories of my past," he grinned. He was not at all in the mood to talk about his past right now. Mainly because it existed mostly of drunken nights, of which he remembered mostly nothing, spent with women to drown out a feeling he still did not really understand. "Let's move on to a subject of a lighter matter, shall we?" He smiled. "For example the subject of how much of a better date I am than your previous conquest." He raied a brow in amusement.

Re: A Day At The The Pirate Port
from Aneira_Greene on 06/02/2020 10:12 PMAneira whipped her head around, before realising that it was one of her few good friends, Clara. They had met a few years back, on Tortuga infact, and there was something about her Anthea liked. She pushed a stray bit of hair behind her ear, finally setting down the empty glass bottle on a nearby wall, resisting the urge to just.....push it off the edge. It was nice to see a friendly face, to say the very least.
She sat next to the bottle, and tapped the space next to her. "It's been ages since I've seen you! How are things?" She inqured with a slight smile, sitting in a relaxed position. "And as for morning, it's definately not a good one." She gestured at the stormy sky, despite the blue tendrils inching across the sky, you still wouldn't want to sail in such weather. And the rather ominous tune from a string instrument, a fiddle prehaps, somewhere did nothing to lighten the mood.
Re: A Day At The The Pirate Port
from ClaraRose on 06/02/2020 09:01 PMA redhead walked along the jetty, looking around herself. It was a dreary day (go figure) and she was in a decent mood. It was quite a sight to see her walking around without a care, humming along with the music to herself as she watched fights break out left and right. Just a normal day in Tortuga, if you asked her. Nothing to worry about yet. Unlike a lot of the women around Clara, she wasn't dolled up. She didn't believe in dolling up. She was a pirate, not a lady. She hadn't really gotten "dolled up" since she left her family a couple years back to be a pirate. The horror her family had faced when they realized this was only up to Clara's imagination. She hadn't really talked to them since that day, and to her knowledge, they never attempted to find her. That was fine with her.
Clara's hair hung in loose curls around her face as she walked. A man wolf whistled and she just rolled her eyes, continuing on. Go figure. She wasn't going to take that. She eventually saw another woman walking around, realizing it was another pirate like herself. She recognized her as Aneira Greene. She walked up to the woman and nodded at her. "Morning."
Re: Demolished Dates And Amorous Altercations
from Yrsa_Mareritt on 06/02/2020 07:33 PMCassian nodded thanks to the barman as he came to bring him a glass of scotch. He immediately took a big sip of it. He sighed and took another sip. "Ah, captain, you must know that I am just testing you, as you are obviously testing me," Yrsa said, which made Cassian laugh. "Oh, of course you are." He raised his glass at her, in a way of letting her know he respected her for saying that. "However, you must know, that I do not fear for much, after all the horrors I have experienced, so, I tend to cross boundries every once in a while. My apology in advance," she said with a wink at Cassian. "Apology accepted, milady," he crooned. "Would you mind terribly telling me about those horrors... as you call them? You intrigued me." He folded his arms and leaned back a little in his seat. He looked at Yrsa. Yrsa took a few calm breaths and a few sips from her drink before anwsering his request. "Well, the usual. My youth was horrific, than my life got better and once again my whole life went to shit. I mean, my father was an absolute ass, but luckily for me, he sold me to the kindest merchant in the world. He took great care of me, but he got killed. When I got back to our ship, the pirates who took over the ship just threw his body over board. I mean, do not pitty me, I am fine, but I am also just not scared anymore. I mean, what else do I have to lose, right?" she looked away from Cassian. She could put on the tough act, but telling always breaks her heart. However, captain Cassian was not going to see her suffer. "Oh well, most damaged souls are at sea, I am right? You must have a story to, captain." she said, still not looking at him. Instead, she looked at the crowd hanging out in The Tipsy Sailor.
"That sounds like a great idea, me travelling with you, captain. However, for me to sleep in you chambers... I will make you work for that a bit more. I do not wish to look anything like the hooker you just scared away before disturbing my date." Cassian laghed out loud at this comment. "Ah, a challenge," he crooned. "How did you know I love those?" He winked at her and sat up a little straighter. "But all right. Let's then say you come to my ship. I'll sail you around the open sea again, let you fight off scum we find there. And of course," he added. "I'll give you your own chamber. Just know that, if you make up your mind, my door is open to you." He took another big sip of his scotch and smiled contently at Yrsa. Yrsa laughed. "Well, if I get my own chambers, than of course! I would love to sail with you for a while, indulge the fighting and the adventures ahead. I would not mind sleeping in a mammock among the other crew either. I mean, you are captain, I would be just another member of your crew. You should treat me like that as well." she said determined. She did not like getting priviliges of any sort. She may be a woman, but being part of the crew means sleeping in a hammock or even on the floor. She would not mind, she liked being part of the crew. She did not want to be seen as weak, most of the men only make that mistake once.
