Re: Demolished Dates And Amorous Altercations
from Yrsa_Mareritt on 06/01/2020 01:48 PMCassian smiled at her when she reminded him that she was automatically his enemy, since she has never been a part of his crew. "Hmm. In some ways, yes. It is just hard to imagine such a beautiful lady like yourself to be anything like an enemy." He sighed dramatically and downed his beer, before pouring himself another one with the carafe that was left on the table by the barman. "I should tell you, Lady Yrsa, I would not at all mind sleeping with the enemy if they all look like you." He smiled lazily and stared straight into her eyes. Yrsa grinned once again at his comment. Cassian knew what he was doing, without a doubt. He knows how to win over a woman for himself. "After two years of hopping ships in every port I entered, the ship I was currently on sunk to the bottem of the sea. I survived, together with two others. That is how I came aboard of The Flying Dutchman, where I happily served for six years. Now, I am just travelling. Ever heard of The British Gazette, captain?" Cassian raised his brows. "The magazine? Of course I have. Why?" His vision focussed on her hand as she let her finger glide through the flame of a candle. "Don't tell me," he started while he looked back at her face again, "that a former pirate, is now writing for a magazine." He grinned. "Isn't that just too dull for you, now that you experienced the life at sea as a pirate?" He asked, actually interested. "If you ever need something... Or someone," he smiled, "to bring you some more excitement, I would be more than willing to help." He made a little curtsey for show and grinned. Suddenly stopped playing with the fire and looked at him angrily. "Well, captain. I doubt you bring me more excitement, if you are really as narrow-minded as you pretend to be," she went to sit up straight, removing herself out of the compelling aura of Cassian. "Did it ever occur to you, that gathering information for the good of all pirates worldwide, may be also with some great risk?" she asked Cassian while looking at him straight in the eyes. She sweared to herself and all the Norse Gods. If this man made one more diminishing comment to her, he would meet her axes as well.
Re: Love is stronger than hate.
from Nerys_Rhydderch on 06/01/2020 01:43 PMGrowing up in a rich and wealthy family, Nerys was always taught to disregard certain things. A brothel, for example, was a place she should never come near, so she learned. She remembered her father gesturing towards a brothel and shaking his head. Years later, however, she learned why the man disgusted this place so much. His wife, Nerys' mother, was a whore, 32 years ago. She found out her father wasn't even her biological father. Her biological father turned out to be a pirate. A man her mother met while 'working'. Because of the ongoing hate, Nerys had always felt against her family, she left them soon after hearing the news. She had to find her biological father, a man she respected before she even knew him.
Her father, a very important man in the Pirate 'Kingdom', taught her everything she needed to know. He taught her how to fight, how to kill, and how to be a pirate. While he was busy practicing his job as the Keeper of the Code, Nerys sailed his ship all over the Caribbean Oceans. The man was important to her, very important and the recent accident still shocked her. Her father was killed just in front of her. It felt like her job to inform the Pirate King. She was his daughter, after all. A handsome man she never met before. She was waiting for him, in front of a brothel, which was quite ironic in her opinion. It all started in a brothel and it would end in front of one.
"Ronan," she said when she finally spotted the pirate king. It seemed like the man was walking towards a pub and Nerys followed him, followed by two wizened aides, the carriers of the Code. "Could you just stop walking? You've probably burned enough calories with your disgusting whore." She smiled, even though she felt like crying. "I'm here to inform you -" she paused for a second and took a deep breath. "My father, Keeper of the Code is death." She didn't actually cry. She didn't even blink. "I hope you'll forgive me, my king, if I tell you I killed the man who killed my father and I hope you forgive me for bringing the Code to you." She gestured towards the two wizened aides. "And, last but not least, forgive me for the once in a lifetime offer: vote for me as your new Keeper of the Code. I promise you I won't disappoint you." She touched his chest and smiled flirtily. "Not in any way."

"After two years of hopping ships in every port I entered, the ship I was currently on sunk to the bottem of the sea. It was never nice to hear as a ship-lover, even if it’s the ship of a so called ‘enemy’. “That is how I came aboard of The Flying Dutchman, where I happily served for six years.” The Flying Dutchman, he thought... Impressive. That was no ship for any ordinary pirate. Of course, he could have known she wasn’t any ordinary pirate, after just cooing away her own date with an axe. “Now, I am just travelling. Ever heard of The British Gazette, captain?" Cassian raised his brows. “The magazine? Of course I have. Re: Just Friends, Right?...
from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 01:16 PMEris's shift had passed just fine mostly because she was on such a good mood.Once it was over she waved good bye to her colleague before rushing out the door she needed to get home and change. She wasn't going to wear some simple bartender outfit when she was going on a date with a Captain. It didn't take long for her to change into her new clothes which was pretty new at this point. They weren't really causual but had some sort of pirate alike view.
Her heels clicking against the street as she walked towards the dock and soon spotted the familiar ship she had seen before. She hadn't really been on it before though. This weird feeling had grown into her belly and she wasn't sure why.It wasn't the first time she'd meet Captain Vanserra. She soon spotted him and slowed down her pace slightly as she slowly made her way over to him.
"Evening Captain Vanserra."She spoke in a slightly seductive tone.He truly was handsome indeed but they were just friends right? But then again normally friends didn't get into bed with each other.Shaking of her though she eyed him up and down bitting the inside of her cheek. She was sure she'd enjoy this night.
Just Friends, Right?...
from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 01:07 PMCassian was lying on his back on one of the docks. His feet were dangling over the edge, pants rolled up to his knees. He moved his feet around in the water as he looked up at the night sky, which was full of stars. His hands were folded up beneath his head, as a sort of cushion. Tonight he was supposed to meet up with Eris, one of his good... what would he call it? ‘Friends’. He and Eris met a couple of years ago, when we was 25 and she was only just 18. They met at the bar she worked at. He came by there one night, and saw her dancing atop of the bar. He grins at the memory of it. They had been flirting and dancing all night, and eventually went home, where they had spent the night together. From that moment on, they had met many times more, to either just hang out, but mostly for pleasurous purposes. It wasn’t like they were in a relationship: they weren’t exclusive. Not at all, actually. They were a kind of friends with benefits. He had come to really value his time with her, though. He liked her company. She didn’t expect too much of him, she knew he had a hard time committing to relationships, and she never pushed him about it. She was just someone he could be himself around, someone he could let go with. He closed his eyes and took in the smell of the salt water, of the fire that was lit not too far from him, the perfumes of the women going to bars and parties. The sound of laughter and music floated through the air, drowning out his thoughts of Eris. He was supposed to meet her here, after she got off work. He would take her out for a bite to eat, and after that they would go to his ship, where they would spend the night at his chambers. He hummed along to the music, waiting patiently for Eris to come and find him.

from Yrsa_Mareritt on 06/01/2020 12:51 PM"Oh, I am quite sure you will not like my other tricks so much, captain. Though, I do not intend to hurt you just yet," Yrsa said. Cassian raised his brow in surpise. "Oh," he cooed. "Threatning a captain already, are we now? What an interesting little gem you are." He sat up a little straighter and grinned. Yrsa grinned at his comment. Sure, she was known to suprise men, not always in a good way.
"Well, Captain, my name is Yrsa Mareritt. I forgot to tell you, when we were interrupted by my horrible date," she continued. He chuckled when she referred to Bruce as a 'horrible date'. "I have been a pirate for the past eight years, but I have roamed the seven seas for far longer than that. And, as for my tricks, a woman or any man at sea needs to be able to defend him or herself, am I correct? So that is where I learned to handle my beloved axes so well." Cassian threw his head back and laughed in surpise. "A pirate? You?" He nodded in approval and clapped his hands a few times. "That explains the temperament," he added with a wink. "All right, Lady Yrsa. I must say, you have surprised me in more ways than one tonight." He sat up straight entirley now and leaned over the table a little. "And may I ask on what ships you were active as a pirate? After all, I would like to know if I am sleeping with the enemy." He folded his hands together, his many rings shining in the candle light. "Well, since I have not been on your ship, is it not evident that you are most certainly sleeping with the enemy?" she asked and leaned over the table as well, getting very close to the ever confident Cassian. "After two years of hopping ships in every port I entered, the ship I was currently on sunk to the bottem of the sea. I survived, together with two others. That is how I came aboard of The Flying Dutchman, where I happily served for six years. Now, I am just travelling. Every heard of The British Gazette, captain?" she asked him. After which she started playing with the fire of a candle, which was placed between them, running her fingers through the flame.
Re: (the past) The Llandoger Trow
from Aneira_Greene on 06/01/2020 11:35 AM"Hey," Aneira nudged Eris as she and a few other barmaids set to work getting the Pub's residents upstairs, and the rest into less backbreaking sleeping positions, "Ready for the next wave?" In a few minutes, the men here would start waking up. It was like clockwork every night, they would be cranky from the vauge hangover they were starting to get in their sleep, and want to drink it away. They would want to get ready to leave, and with the outpour of people, fights would ensue. Some of the night workers would begin to drift in as the hours turned to morning, and many of them were only a tad more civil than the current customers, the others far worse.
She went to sit on the bar, unpinning her jacket and throwing it to the side as the heat got to her, leaving her stays and shift on underneath. It was perfectly fine to do so, as the closing stomacher at the front kept it somewhat modest. She poured herself and Eris a drink, watching the door keenly. She felt tired, but ah well, she did rather want a nice and hot sunday pie this week.

from Cassian_Vanserra on 06/01/2020 10:52 AMCassian let his eyes glide over the woman's body as she sweeped her hair back and adjusted her corset. Her skin was showing slitghly above the neckline of her shirt. He felt the corner of his mouth tug slightly to the side as he let his imagination go. When she started talking to him, however, he got pulled back to reality. "Oh, I am quite sure you will not like my other tricks so much, captain. Though, I do not intend to hurt you just yet," the woman said. Cassian raised his brow in surpise. "Oh," he cooed. "Threatning a captain already, are we now? What an interesting little gem you are." He sat up a little straighter and grinned. He liked the nerve on her. He had not expected the woman to be like this. Sure, she didn't look like a little doll, but he certainly didn't take her for someone to have the nerve to threaten him, as he seemed a lot bigger than she was and he just told her he was the captain of a ship.
"Well, Captain, my name is Yrsa Mareritt. I forgot to tell you, when we were interrupted by my horrible date," she continued. Yrsa. the name suited her. It sounded quite warrior-like. He chuckled when she referred to Bruce as a 'horrible date'. "I have been a pirate for the past eight years, but I have roamed the seven seas for far longer than that. And, as for my tricks, a woman or any man at sea needs to be able to defend him or herself, am I correct? So that is where I learned to handle my beloved axes so well." Re: Demolished Dates And Amorous Altercations
from Yrsa_Mareritt on 06/01/2020 09:36 AM"Lesson well taken," Cassian said with a grin. Yrsa smiles at him. "Very good, Mister Cassian Vanserra, a captain no less," Yrsa said, while she wipe her hair out of her face and straigtened her corset. "Just as I though you could not be interesting, atop of being as beautiful as you are, you surprise me with this trick of yours." He leans back into the bench and stretches out his legs. "What other tricks do you have in store for me?" He takes another sip of his beer, and waves at the barman to refill his glass. Yrsa grins at Cassian. "Oh, I am quite sure you will not like my other tricks so much, captain. Though, I do not intend to hurt you just yet," Yrsa said. "So tell me, where did you learn that-- thing you just did? You don't strike me as the typical housewive, walking around with axes like that." He raises his brows and waits for her answer while the barman approaches them with a big carafe of beer. "Fill the lady up too," he orders the barman, and looks back at Yrsa.
Yrsa thanks the barman, and subsequently Cassian as well. She takes a deep breathe before answering his question. "Well, Captain, my name is Yrsa Mareritt. I forgot to tell you, when we were interrupted by my horrible date. You see, I am indeed not a housewife. I do not even own a house, because my heart, just as yours, lies at sea," Yrsa took another sip of her drink and looked at Cassian. "I have been a pirate for the past eight years, but I have roamed the seven seas for far longer than that. And, as for my tricks, a woman or any man at sea needs to be able to defend him or herself, am I correct? So that is where I learned to handle my beloved axes so well," Yrsa leans back, waiting for Cassians reply. His next move would be important, as it would prove whether he is up for the task of handling a woman like her. Bruce, for example, was not, not even a slightest bit.

from ErisBlackwood on 06/01/2020 01:51 AMEris was just about to snap when she simply took a deep breath before turning to him."No troubles."She stated not giving much of emotional of her face expression.Suddenly he spotted someone he knew and he started to move away from her."Asshole."She mumbled under her breath. Why was she here when she could sneak up on a ship?Maybe join a group of pirates for god sake she was stealing from her customers. But she couldn't leave Aneria just like that, probably the only thing keeping her here. The hours had passed a little and slowly drunken men started to fall into deep sleep around in the room.Sleeping on a table or on someone's shoulder or heck like this guy simply laying on the floor. There was still life in the building however.
